Financial Services Client – A financial services firm was seeking space for wholesale colocation in an area where none existed. Numerous options were evaluated including new construction, existing office and industrial spaces, and retail collocation providers. Ultimately, CBRE was able to assist them in selecting an established retail colocation provider to build and operate a dedicated data center.
Entertainment Client – The client was in search of land on which to locate their corporate enterprise data center. After considering numerous other regions across the country, they decided to focus on the Charlotte area. CBRE helped them evaluate infrastructure availability, incentives, and the total cost of occupancy.
High Rise Office Building – Strategically located in the heart of the Charlotte CBD, this 215,000 SF office building was redeveloped three years prior to CBRE’s involvement. After securing transactions that increased the building’s occupancy from 5% to 95%, CBRE was able to successfully sell the building for the owner. Currently, this building is one of the city’s premier corporate office spaces.
Industrial Business Park – This 138,000 SF industrial flex facility is located in Mooresville, NC and was left with an 110,000 SF vacancy following the departure of Lowe’s Home Improvement. To date, CBRE has been responsible for leasing 70,000 SF of the vacancy.
