MSCI Real Assets credited CBRE with a 43% market share across all property types in Hong Kong and  a 33% market share across Asia Pacific in H1 2026. Within Asia Pacific, CBRE ranked first in Australia, India, Japan, New Zealand and Thailand.

Jonathan Chau, Managing Director, Capital Markets, Asia (ex-Japan), CBRE, said: “Securing the number one position in Hong Kong reflects the trust our clients place in CBRE and the strength of our integrated platform. Despite a challenging market environment, investors continue to pursue opportunities across a broad range of sectors, particularly where pricing adjustments have created attractive entry points. Our team's market expertise, sector knowledge, and execution capabilities help clients identify and capitalise on these opportunities."

The strong performance comes as investor sentiment in Hong Kong continues to improve, supported by growing interest in value-add and opportunistic investment strategies. Transaction activity has remained resilient across a broad range of sectors as investors seek quality assets and compelling entry points.

Reeves Yan, Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets, Hong Kong, CBRE, added: “Hong Kong remains one of Asia Pacific's most important real estate investment gateways, underpinned by its transparent market, deep capital base, and strategic position connecting Mainland China with international investors. We are seeing growing interest from both local and cross-border capital and expect investment activity to gain further momentum as market conditions continue to stabilise."
