CBRE Appointed as Sole Agent for the Sale of Waterfront Site at Hoi Yu Street, Quarry Bay by Public Tender

22nd June 2022, Hong Kong - CBRE has been appointed as the Sole Agent by the Receivers for the sale of The Remaining Portion of Inland Lot No. 8590 and The Remaining Portion of Inland Lot No. 8723 at Hoi Yu Street, Quarry Bay (collectively the “Lots”) by public tender. Upon request of potential buyers, the tender closing date is postponed to 12:00 noon on 25th July 2022 (Monday).

Reeves Yan, Head of Capital Markets and Executive Director of CBRE Hong Kong said, "The site is to be developed into a large-scale mixed-use complex integrating commercial, leisure and tourism use, which is highly sought-after among different type of buyers including local / PRC developers, REITs, institutional funds, family offices, private investors etc. We receive requests from most of the potential buyers demanding extra time to study the property thoroughly and make informed internal discussion. In view of this, CBRE, as the Sole Agent of the Receivers (FTI Consulting), would like to postpone the tender closing date to 12:00 noon on 25th July 2022 (Monday) upon the instruction of the Receivers.”
