Samuel Lai is responsible for managing the Advisory & Transaction Services – Industrial & Logistics business in Hong Kong.
Samuel has extensive experience in transacting industrial properties, mega-sized leasing and project marketing. He is extremely well regarded as a leader in the local market for his dedication and professionalism.
Samuel works closely with research team in producing industry white papers and thought leadership pieces, and he also communicates frequently with the public on hot and pressing topics facing the sector.
With dedicated focus to the sector, CBRE’s Industrial team has been awarded the RICS Hong Kong Award for Industrial Team of the Year from 2012-2015 and the Goodman Leasing Deal of the Year 2014/5. The team was Highly Commended in the Agency Team of the Year category in RICS Hong Kong Awards 2023.
Samuel brings with him over 20 years of experience in various real estate sectors, 19 of which he has specialized in the industrial sector in Hong Kong. Samuel spent 4 years at JLL before joining CBRE in 2008. His first major focus was Goodman’s mega warehouse project, Interlink, which was highly successful, with 99% pre-commitment upon the building’s completion in 2012.
