Phil Rowland is
currently an Executive Director in the Global Corporate Services group based inHong Kong. His primary responsibility is managing CB Richard Ellis' Global Corporate Services business across Asia. Prior to this position Phil's focus was business development, corporate real estate consultancy, and internal change initiatives for Global Corporate Services in New York City. Phil has been advising US and European clients on a range of real estate issues for over ten years in the greater New York area and London, England.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Phil was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young, Real Estate Advisory Services in New
York and London where he specialised in real estate strategic planning and operational performance improvement for multinational corporate clients. Phil originally hails from New Zealand where he was a consultant within the Ernst & Young (NZ) Real Estate Consulting Group. Prior to joining Ernst & Young Phil managed a real estate portfolio for the New Zealand government. Phil completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Valuation and Property Management) in 1993 from Lincoln University, New Zealand.
During his consultancy career Phil has focused on providing and implementing a range of strategic real estate advice to corporate occupiers, predominantly in the Financial Services, Manufacturing and Media, Entertainment and Information Services Sectors. Assignments recently undertaken range from strategic planning, real estate and facilities outsourcing, development studies, corporate portfolio and location strategies and performance improvement strategies.
