In Hong Kong, the size of
a property is measured in square feet rather than by the number of rooms. Sizes
are usually quoted on the gross square footage (including lift lobbies and
shared communal space). The actual or useable footage is usually around 80% of
the gross (but can vary between 65% and 95%). (Please note that 1 square metre
equals 10.76 square feet).
